We spent the day driving to and from Jefferson Parish on wednesday to survey the damage to mom & dad's house and the church across the street where mom works. Overall the damage in River Ridge seems quite light, unless you're a tree. When we arrived at the house, the water was working, although the water pressure seems a bit low. It's doubtful that it's potable yet - we didn't take the chance.
